Rory, I really like this. As I get more and more into photography, I’m becoming more intrigued with HDR. When I saw this photo, my first thought was, “I can’t wait for the sea to freeze so I can go out and get some more ice-scape photos and experiment with processing them.” Anyway, great shot! Jack

This was in my early days of photography and I had only just learnt about HDR and similarly was intrigued and liked the theory although in practice I think it is often overused. Although I have moved away from HDR I was pleased with the result on this particular occasion. You must have some incredible landscapes in Alaska and look forward to seeing some of those ice-scapes you mention. All the best, Rory
